The increase in the spirited nature in the Indian Premier League (IPL) matches have bound cricketers to trade expletives at each other. Harbhajan Singh got into a fiery exchange with S Sreesanth after the match among Mumbai Indians and Kings XI Punjab. So far being the biggest fight in the history of IPL, the slapgate episode rocked the IPL in the very first season.

The fast bowler, Sreesanth took a dig at his Indian teammate Harbhajan after Mumbai’s loss, which didn’t go fine with the off-spinner. He reverted back and slapped Sreesanth which left the Kerala pacer in tears. In the end, Harbhajan continued a suspension until the end of the play-offs while Sreesanth was let off with a warning.

 

#3) Virat Kohli and Ravichandran Ashwin (IPL 2019)

After batting first, the Royal Challengers Bangalore had lost their skipper Virat Kohli early in the innings. The release of Kohli energized Ravichandran Ashwin, the Punjab skipper to gave a fiery and violent send-off. Kohli being someone who doesn’t take things lightly gave a suitable response to Ashwin, who holed out to him in the last over who was off by Umesh Yadav. Kohli was all thrilled and hurled abuses at him after completing the catch.

Anyway, it ended as the game got better and Ashwin agreed that there was no feeling of any illness between him and Virat Kohli.

 

#2) Harbhajan Singh and Ambati Rayudu (IPL 2016)
