This campaigner brings a totally different dimension to the game by his all-rounder skills. Ravindra Jadeja was picked up by Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for 12.8 crores in the year 2012. He has been a gem for them since then. His exceptional fielding skills is the one to be feared of.

In his first edition with CSK, he played some brilliant innings with the bat and picked up 12 wickets with an economy of 7.8. Over the years he has been the go-to man by MS Dhoni in crucial situations of the match and has never failed to meet the expectations.


4. Ben Stokes (14.5 Crores)


This British all-rounder justified the high price he was bought for by the Rising Pune Supergiant. He got that X factor into the team by his finishing skills and death bowling as well. This debutant played a crucial role in bringing Pune to the finals in 2017.

Ben Stokes showed his all-rounder skills by scoring 316 runs out of the 12 matches he played at a phenomenal strike rate of 142.98 and an average of 31.60. He was also successful in picking up 12 wickets with a best of 3/18.


3. Gautam Gambhir (14.9 Crores)


Kolkata Knight Riders paid an immense amount of 14.9 crores to this left-hander to fill the spot of opener and captain as well in the year 2011. He did a decent job of scoring 378 runs out of 15 matches he played with an average of 34.36 and a strike rate of 119.24.

Gautam Gambhir was successful in leading the team to the playoffs. In the coming years, he led the team to two successful titles in the year 2012 and 2014.

Pat Cummins became the most expensive player sold at the auctions for the 2020 edition of the Indian Premier League. Delhi Daredevils bought Yuvraj Singh for surprising and a whopping price of 16 crores in the year 2015. There will always be some pressure on the player when they go for such high bucks. It seems that the pressure got the better of Yuvraj in that season. Though he had performed well in the previous season, he could not repeat the same and failed miserably, both with the bat as well as with the ball. He was successful in only scoring 248 runs out of the 14 matches he played with an average of 19.07.

The all-rounder failed to show his skills with the ball as well as he only took 1 wicket in the entire season as Delhi finished in the 7th spot in that edition.
