It might come as a surprise to many to see this player at 2nd position, but yes he is one player who has been a boon for KKR since he started to open the innings. Apart from his exceptional bowling skills, Narine has been used as a floater and he has never disappointed to give a good start to the innings.

Although he has improved as a batsman in T-20 cricket to score some quick fires nobody can deny the fact that the power play has been to his side of advantage. Sunil Narine has a second highest strike rate of 168.34 with 771 runs in his bag.


#1) Andre Russell


There is no lack of power in the West Indian batsmen and Russell is no exception to this case. Andre Russell is equally good in all the three departments of the game and was lone army in the KKR squad last year. This Jamaican has the potential to bowl at speeds over 140km/h, flex his muscles to park the ball out of the ground and also you can see him sweeping balls all around the boundary.

This epitome of power has an astonishing strike rate of 186.41 which is the highest in IPL so far with 1400 runs in his bank.
